what is reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
It is a way of activating, directing and applying natural energy for the promotion of health, healing, balance and wholeness.
This form of healing is an holistic creative energy and therefore useful for preventing imbalance, assisting the body's natural healing powers and maintaining a state of well being.
Administered by 'laying on hands' is based on the concept that an unseen 'energy' flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
